Leadership Opportunities and Community Service Hours Available for Youth in Middle and High School

Prime Time Palm Beach County invites youth in middle and high school, who are interested in leadership opportunities, to join our Teen Advisory Council (TAC) meetings.

The goal of the TAC is to provide a fun, safe space where young people can voice their ideas and experiences in a meaningful way; participate in discussions, activities and work groups that build their leadership skills; learn about new topics of interest to them; and contribute to positive changes in their communities. If you or any of the young people with whom you work are interested, please contact Prime Time’s Middle School Professional Development Specialist Anton Spalding, at aspalding@primetimepbc.org or (561) 600-9544.

Attendees will have opportunities to earn community service hours. Prime Time will also provide gift incentives to youth who regularly join and participate in these meetings and who become Future Leaders council members.

Future Leaders membership is open to young people between the ages of 11-24. To learn more about Future Leaders and to submit an application to join the council, please visit https://discover.pbcgov.org/youthservices/pages/future-leaders.aspx.

Meetings will be held online via Zoom on the second to last Tuesday of each month through May 2022, and will feature community- building activities, presentations, discussions, youth-led forums and more.

Please join us in inviting teen leaders and their friends to be a part of the Teen Advisory Council and Future Leaders meetings.
