West Palm Beach, FL – April 14, 2025 – Prime Time Palm Beach County is pleased to announce its annual Afterschool Symposium, scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2025, at the West Palm Beach Marriott, 1001 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL, 33401. This event brings together out-of-school time (OST) professionals to celebrate achievements, engage in professional development, and collaborate to enhance the quality of programs that support children and youth before school, after school, summer, weekends and during seasonal breaks.
Event Schedule:
· 7:30 a.m. – Check-In
· 8:00 a.m. – Welcome & Professional Development Recognition Ceremony
· 9:15 a.m. – Professional Development Workshops - Block I
· 10:25 a.m. – Professional Development Workshops - Block II
· 11:30 a.m. – Advancing Afterschool Awards and Empowering Young Minds, Engaging Communities and Creating Lasting Impact Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Caleb Wesco
The symposium's theme, "Empowering Young Minds, Engaging Communities, Creating Lasting Impact," underscores Prime Time's commitment to providing OST professionals with tools and strategies to support youth development effectively.
Keynote Speaker: Caleb Wesco, a renowned motivational speaker known for his dynamic presentations and workshops, will deliver the keynote address. His engaging speaking style and profound insights aim to inspire individuals to unlock their full potential and pursue their dreams fearlessly.

Advancing Afterschool Awards: Prime Time will honor exemplary individuals in the OST field through the Advancing Afterschool Awards. Award categories include:
· Out-of-School Time Legacy Award
· Excellence in Expanded Learning Award
· Community Impact Award
· Quality Leadership in Out-of-School Time Award
· Implementing Quality by an Afterschool Professional Award
These peer-nominated awards recognize outstanding contributions to the afterschool field and the positive impact on youth and our communities.

Registration Information: Professionals working in youth-serving organizations within Palm Beach and Martin counties are given priority for registration.
