Scientific studies show that the only way to build long-term brain fitness, emotional balance and resilience in the face of crisis and chaos is through daily practice of mindful awareness and other positive psychology tools. In each session, participants share their experiences from applying the different tools, and incrementally build a daily self-care practice plan that is customized to their needs based on their own reflective practice. Ultimately, the goal of empowering resilient and compassionate adults is to create a climate and culture whereby youth thrive socially and emotionally, are able to apply SEL tools to be resilient in daily life and in crisis, succeed in academic and extracurricular endeavors, and can build positive and empathetic relationships.
