High Quality Summer Programs in Palm Beach County Offer Fun and Engaging Ways to Prepare for New School Year

Every summer children and youth attending summer programs in Palm Beach County have the opportunity to take part in hands-on learning activities provided by local content experts such as The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, Center for Creative Education, Digital Vibez and more.

What does this mean exactly? Summer programs visit Prime Time’s menu of offerings to find organizations like Youth Environmental Alliance or NFTE  to schedule the experts to visit their program to offer youth attending fun, engaging activities tied to themes like health and wellness, leadership, STEAM or arts and culture. Children and youth might spend time learning a new dance routine, building a robot, fishing South Florida’s waters or video editing.  

Why is learning during the summer important? High quality summer programs provide a great opportunity to help all kids bounce back, catch up and propel forward into the next school year while proven to maintain and advance students’ academics and growth in life skills, keep children safe and healthy during the summer, and send young people back to school ready to learn.

National Summer Learning Week is an annual celebration of National Summer Learning Association (NSLA,) dedicated to elevating the importance of summer learning.
