Registration to Open March 23 - Prime Time Palm Beach County Afterschool Symposium

Prime Time Palm Beach County’s annual Afterschool Symposium, offered completely free to afterschool professionals across Palm Beach County thanks to the generous support of funders, partners, and sponsors, is expected to welcome 300 attendees on May 8, 2026, in celebration of the organization’s 25th anniversary.

Registration opens March 23, 2026. Due to limited capacity and a commitment to ensuring broad program participation, registration is capped at four attendees per program. Additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist and notified if space becomes available.

For a quarter century, Prime Time Palm Beach County has partnered with afterschool and summer programs to help them deliver high-quality experiences for children and youth. Through a comprehensive system of nationally recognized benchmarks, coaching, financial incentives, professional development, and hands-on learning opportunities, Prime Time provides customized support to ensure that when school is out, young people are safe, engaged and thriving.

Each year, the Symposium serves as a space for recognition, gratitude, and professional growth. This year’s event holds special significance as Prime Time reflects on its history, milestones and lasting impact. The theme, “Lighting the Way: 25 Years of Afterschool Excellence,” celebrates the legacy, dedication, innovation, and progress of the out-of-school time field, while inspiring continued growth and vision for the future.

The day’s highlights will include a peer-nominated awards ceremony, a curated selection of professional development workshops, and recognition of afterschool professionals who have earned degrees and certifications. The event will conclude with a keynote address from Dr. Nicole Edwards, a longtime Prime Time leader and advocate.
