The Elevating OST Leadership Initiative invites first to third-year out-of-school time (OST) directors or assistant directors to apply to be a part of this hybrid leadership training series that combines in-person and virtual training sessions. The Initiative will take practitioners through a journey of leadership skill development and practice, self-awareness, harnessing one’s passions, learning to communicate with fierce compassion, visioning and creating actionable goals for the future.
Participants who successfully complete this leadership course will earn up to 21 training hours and up to 2.1 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a $1,500 stipend.
The Initiative has a total of 15 seats reserved for rising transformational leaders committed to youth and a high-quality out of school time experience! Now more than ever due to the ever-changing educational landscape, leaders need to be equipped with research-based practices and tools to navigate change and develop creative strategies to address issues and innovate on behalf of youth and the communities they serve. As a member of the Leadership Cohort, practitioners will be immersed in an experience designed to hone their skills and create a community of support throughout this journey as a leader.
