Phase Two Onboarding Underway

The director and staff and Benoist Farms Elementary Afterschool Program, a Phase 2 PSELI site, participated in micro professional development and coaching check-in with the SEL specialist where they learned basic strategies to launch their implementation of adult SEL practice and in setting the foundation for delivering a regular afternoon meeting.

Practitioners practiced the power pause, building community agreements with staff, and created an incremental plan for scheduling dedicated SEL time in afterschool programming.
