Prime Time Palm Beach County is helping more children experience the transformative power of dance this summer thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. As one of 177 nonprofit organizations awarded funding through the Community Foundation's record-breaking $6.56 million competitive grant cycle, Prime Time received support for Divinity Dance, one of its expanded learning opportunity (ELO) providers that enriches children's lives beyond the traditional classroom.
Divinity Dance is a Prime Time expanded learning opportunity provider designed to engage youth through the performing arts while building confidence, creativity, discipline and self-expression. Offered as part of high-quality afterschool and summer programming, the program gives children the opportunity to learn dance techniques, collaborate with peers, develop leadership skills, and express themselves in a safe, supportive environment. The Community Foundation's summer grant helps expand access to this enriching experience, ensuring more children can stay active, connected and inspired while school is out.
